3) This article is about how the steady rise of children with ADHD has risen drastically since 1990. The article is also about how doctors aren't properly able to diagnose children due to it being hidden inside the child for a long time. That is why parent and peer observation is important.
4) One fact is that in the year 2000, five separate lawsuits were filed in U.S. courts alleging that the American Psychiatric Association had promoted the diagnosis of ADHD in cooperation with drug manufacturers as a way to make money by prescribing more medication. This proves that ADHD cannot be properly diagnosed. Finally, there is no conclusive test for diagnosing ADHD. Meaning that the doctors never know who really has ADHD.
5) To help further my knowledge i could ask, How else do doctors tell when a Child has ADHD without parent or peer observation? Is there any medication specifically used for individuals with ADHD?
